¾ c heavy cream
1 1/4 c milk
½ c apple sauce
2 eggs lightly beaten
1 tsp vanilla
¼ tsp salt
¼ c cocoa powder
1/8 c sugar
1 c whole wheat flour
¾ c all purpose flour
1tbsp baking powder
Whisk in a medium bowl. Batter may be a little grainy and that is ok. Scoop ¾ of a cup of batter into the waffle maker and cook to specifications for your waffle maker.
