2 C apple sauce ( 2 c butter softened)
1 C agave or 1 ½ honey ( can use 2 C sugar)
2 C brown sugar
4 eggs
2 tbsp vanilla extract
5 C oatmeal
2 c all- purpose flour
2 C whole wheat flour
1 tsp salt
1 tsp baking powder
2 tsp baking soda
2 12 oz pkgs chocolate chips or 1 bag mini chocolate chips
Cream together apple sauce, agave, sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract. Then add flour, oatmeal, salt, baking powder, and baking soda. Then add chocolate chips. You can use a cookie scoop or roll into golf ball size and press down a little. Bake on lightly greased cookie sheet at 400 degrees for 6 min or at 350 for about 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
This does make a ton of cookies so you can cut it in half to make less.
